We’re looking to hire a highly skilled software engineer with deep expertise in both C++ and Python to help us bring more open-source models to Function.

You Will…

• Implement AI models like Llama3, Whisper, and others in C++ to run in Function, across all the platforms we support (Android, iOS, macOS, Linux, WebAssembly, Windows).
• Help us design AI-powered codegen to automate your work.

You Know…

• High-level Python deep learning and tensor frameworks such as PyTorch, Transformers, and Diffusers.
• How to write extremely performant C++ code, especially around leveraging platform-specific SIMD and GPGPU. For example:
  • Vulkan Compute, OpenCL for Android and Linux
  • Metal, Metal Performance Shaders for iOS and macOS
  • CUDA for Linux
  • WASM SIMD and WebGPU for WebAssembly
  • DirectCompute and DirectML for Windows
• How to use C++ tensor and inference libraries like ONNXRuntime, GGML, MLX, OpenVINO, and others.
